Within Normal Limits

The nurse just called to inform me that my 3 hour glucose test results were all within normal limits. I am so relieved! Another bit of news I have acquired is the date of my planned C-section. As long as the baby behaves, his birth date will be October 15th, which is exactly one week before my due date. So that leaves us just shy of 9 weeks before he arrives, yikes! Where did the time go?

Why a C-section?

I had a C-section with Ian and Exeter doesn't allow VBACs.

Oh that's too bad...at least your better prepared to deal with the healing from a c-section this time around though. Glad to hear the glucose test was normal!

Glad to hear everything is normal or as normal as can be for you. Hopefully your baby will behave I have never had that luxury both came early. I really was hoping for a Halloween baby. I do not understand why you won't wait that long.

Thanks Michelle. I was pretty bummed about it at first and contemplated switching doctors to deliver at Eliot but after my experience with Ian, I just didn't want to end up with an emergency section again! I wasn't even able to be awake when I had Ian and was the last in the family to hold him....that really stunk! Now after what happened with my sister, I'm feeling like I made the right decision! My mother had c-sections with us all too.

Hey Cammie I am so excited for you. Faith's b-day is Oct 12th. Great time of year. :) I can totally sympathize about the c-section. Christel was a c-section so that meant Faith was too. But for Faith they put my under because of my MS(they don't mess with the back, too many possible complications) So by the time I saw her I felt like I missed the party!!
Good luck!! Our prayers are with you. ~Stacey Bellen
